FORB's 2026 Native Plant Sale
FORB's Annual Native Plant Sale for 2026 is open NOW!
All plants, including Bluebells, are available for purchase online. Please see the many available plants, below. The sale will be open through Monday, March 31, 2026. Prices are $12 for quart-sized plants and $15 for gallon-sized plants, taxes included. The plant orders must be picked up at the Riverbend Park Educational Pavilion on Potomac Hills Street on Saturday, April 18 beginning at 10 AM and before 5 PM.
The FORB's online plant sale includes plants that are natives as well as plants that are hybrids or cultivars of native plants. Native plants are identified by a capitalized Latin name and one or more lower case Latin names . For example, Anemone canadensis. Together, these two names indicate the genus and species of the plant.
If the plant name includes one or more English words in single quotation marks, or has a trademark indicator after the name, the plant is a hybrid or cultivar.
Since the beloved Virginia Bluebells bloom in late March or early April, FORB will have Bluebells available for sale in person one day only, on Saturday, April 11, 2026 beginning at 10 AM close to the Visitor Center and in conjunction with Riverbend Park's Bluebell Festival. Bluebells may be purchased for $12 per quart-sized plant, payable by cash, check or credit card on a first come - first served basis while supplies last.
